Our products are made available for sale to you subject to the following Terms & Conditions. By accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the Terms & Conditions set out below. We therefore suggest you read them carefully and contact us on 0845 505 5533 or info@directinteriors.co.uk if you have any queries.
Formation of Contract and Governing Law...
A contract for the sale of goods between you and Direct Interiors will be deemed to exist once your goods have been dispatched, unless we have notified you that we cannot accept your order for whatever reason, or if you have cancelled your order before it is dispatched (see “Cancellation rights” below). This does not affect your statutory rights.
To be eligible to purchase products on the Direct Interiors website and lawfully enter into a contract on the website, you must register with us by providing your real name, phone number, e-mail address, payment details and other requested information. You confirm that the debit or credit card being used is yours and is valid. We reserve the right to refuse to take a credit or debit card issued by a bank unacceptable to us.
If your card issuer refuses or fails to make the agreed payment to us, Direct Interiors shall be entitled to cancel the contract and/or suspend any further deliveries to you.
You are responsible to Direct Interiors for ensuring the accuracy of your order and for ensuring the accuracy of the information you shall provide to enable Direct Interiors to fulfill your order. The quantity and description of the goods to be sent to you by Direct Interiors will be confirmed in writing by an email confirmation of your order. You are responsible for verifying that the quantity and description of goods given in this email confirmation is correct. Please contact Direct Interiors on 0845 505 5533 or info@directinteriors.co.uk if any details of your order are incorrect.
Ownership of the goods shall pass to you as soon as Direct Interiors has received payment in full of the price of the goods and the cost of postage and packaging.
Direct Interiors shall not be liable to you, or deemed to be in breach of contract, due to any delay in performing or, failure to perform, any of its obligations in relation to a contract, if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond reasonable control of Direct Interiors.
The contract shall be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom and shall be governed by the laws of England. You and Direct Interiors both irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Although we are happy to consider orders arising from outside the United Kingdom, we cannot give any guarantee that the use of this website or the placing of any order through this website complies with any applicable non-United Kingdom laws or regulations
You may cancel your contract with Direct Interiors for any reason by giving written notice (this includes email) to Direct Interiors within 7 working days of the date of receiving your goods. If you cancel within this time any payments you have made, including for postage and packaging, will be refunded in full.
Please see How to Order for details of how to cancel the contract before your order is dispatched. If your order has already been dispatched please follow the procedure set out under Returns.
You must return to Direct Interiors any products which have been sent to you under the cancelled contract. These products must be returned to Direct Interiors in perfect condition, unused and in their original packaging.
Please see Returns for further information regarding our Returns policies.
Prices, Taxes and Delivery...
All prices displayed on the Direct Interiors website are quoted in pounds sterling and include VAT (UK sales tax) at 17.5%. Prices exclusive of VAT will be quoted upon request. Any customs or import duties payable when your Direct Interiors goods are sent to a country other than the UK are your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them. You also accept responsibility for conforming to any legislation or regulations governing the importation of goods into your country.
The total cost of your order reflects the price of your products plus appropriate postage and packaging charges. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Please see Delivery for further information on delivery charges. Please note that while we make every effort to ensure that your goods are dispatched within the timescales promised, these are estimates only and delays are occasionally inevitable. Direct Interiors will not be liable for any loss caused to you by failure to deliver goods by any estimated delivery date.
Please also note that prices, dimensions and descriptions on the website are subject to change without notice.
Conformity of Goods...
Direct Interiors takes every reasonable care to ensure that the descriptions, specifications and prices of its products given on the Direct Interiors website are accurate and correct at the time when the relevant information was loaded onto the website. However we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, reliable, accurate and up-to-date, or otherwise free from errors.
Though we do make every effort to ensure that sizes and measurements are as accurate as possible, please note that they can only be approximate.
Although we aim to update all information on the website as soon as applicable, the information, including product descriptions, specifications and pricing, which appears on the Direct Interiors website may not always reflect the position at the exact moment when you place an order.
If we discover an error in the price of the products you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling it. We will not proceed with the order until we have reconfirmed it with you.
Colour representation on the website is as close as we can get it, but we cannot accept responsibility for slight colour variations caused by photography, computers and/or browsers.
Please note that Direct Interiors goods are deemed to be suitable for domestic use. Please check with us on 0845 505 5533 or info@directinteriors.co.uk for suitability if you wish to use the goods in a business context and please ensure that you have the appropriate insurance.
Refusal of Transaction...
Direct Interiors reserves the right to refuse any order placed for any reason whatsoever. Non-acceptance of an order may arise from, but is not limited to, product unavailability, lack of payment authorisation from your cardholder, or the identification of an error within the price or product details. We will contact you immediately if for whatever reason we are unable to fulfill your order.
Direct Interiors reserves the right to withdraw any products from the Direct Interiors website at any time and/or to remove or edit content from the site. We will incur no liability to you or any third party if we withdraw a product from the website.
Personal Information and Website Security...
By offering to buy a product you specifically authorise us to transmit information or to obtain information about you from third parties, including, but not limited to, your debit or credit card number or credit reports. This information may be used to authenticate your identity, validate your credit card, obtain an initial credit card authorisation and authorise individual purchase transactions.
We will take all reasonable precautions, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep all details of your order and payment secure, but unless we are negligent we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party gains unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Direct Interiors website.
For details of how seriously we take the security and privacy of your information please see Security and Data Protection.
Please note that we cannot guarantee that the website will be compatible with your computer terminal and cannot accept liability for any corruption or loss of data held on your computer or any liability for any other form of loss or damage arising from use of the Direct Interiors website.

SECURITY AND DATA PROTECTION...
Our Commitment to You...
We understand that your privacy and the security of your personal information is of paramount importance and something which we are 100% committed to safeguarding. We do this in the following ways:
As required by law, we only collect information which is necessary for the completion of a particular transaction on the website. We may ask for additional information which might be useful to us - such as a telephone number in case of problems with a purchase - but it is never made mandatory to provide such information. We do not require any personal information from you before you reach the secure checkout area of the site.
Credit card payment information in particular is never kept on our databases. It is encrypted at the time of transaction (see ‘Security Technology’ below) and then passed on immediately to your credit card company for the transaction to be authorised. Our payment service provider is committed to using the highest standards of security technology available at any time.
We guarantee that all information gathered by us will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. All current and future staff of Direct Interiors will be expected to sign a confidentiality agreement, agreeing to adhere to our strict privacy policies. No information you provide will ever be given to third parties, except with your express permission and approval. We also promise to treat any personal information you will have given us, such as email addresses, with respect. We will only use your email address to send you marketing information if you expressly agree to it being used in this way. Even then we will endeavour not to bombard you with marketing information and you will be given the opportunity to unsubscribe from our database every time we send you a marketing email.
Security Technology...
Direct Interiors is a secure website. Every time you enter a part of the site which requires you to give sensitive information such as credit card details, an icon which looks like a padlock will appear at the bottom of your browser window, indicating that a secure connection has been made which is different from the connection you normally make for browsing.
Any personal details you give at this stage will be encoded by powerful 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology (the most secure currently available) and is only then sent over the Internet, meaning that it can never be read by anyone other than your credit card company. Once your information has been transferred it is removed from the website. As a result buying goods over the Internet is much safer than giving out credit card details over the phone or in a restaurant.
Though we have complete confidence in the security of this system, we do understand that you may be uneasy ordering online, and we would therefore be pleased to accept orders over the phone on 0845 505 5533. Once payment has been validated and authorisation approved, we guarantee that your card details will be immediately destroyed. We advise that you do not send confidential credit card information to us via fax or email.
Ways in which we use the information provide...
The data you do provide us with will be used in the following ways:
• To process transactions
• To register you on our website to make your website experience as efficient as possible
• For the prevention and detection of fraud
• For assessment and analysis. We do keep records of our customers’ previous orders and use software to analyse the way our customers use the website. This includes information about the technology you are using and the websites you were browsing before visiting Direct Interiors. The data thus collected will be used to develop and improve our products and services. This includes being able to target you with specific marketing information about products, services and special offers which we think may be of interest to you. You will always have an option to unsubscribe from any such marketing initiatives and we guarantee not to pass on any such information to third parties.
• To administer any prize draws or competitions you may have entered.
Please note that while we will take all reasonable steps to protect your personal details, we cannot guarantee the security of data you disclose on-line. We will therefore not be held responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or willful default.
Under the Data Protection Act you have a right to see any personal records we keep about you, as long as you send us a written request. Please contact us on info@directinteriors.co.uk or on 0845 505 5533 if you have any concerns about the information we hold about you. If you do not agree with any aspect of our privacy policies, you should not submit personal information to the site.
